DANIELLE COATES

Founder & CEO

I’m a passionate interior designer with over 15 years of experience and 10 years with on site construction experience. I love creating beautiful, functional spaces. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, and my journey has allowed me to blend my love for design with my enthusiasm for making homes feel truly special.

When I’m not designing, I’m spending quality time with my husband and our energetic 2-year-old son. Family is everything to me, and we love making memories together through travel and new adventures. Whether I’m exploring a new city or at home, I’m always inspired by the beauty of the world around me.

Design is not just my career—it’s my passion. I’m excited to bring that passion to your space and help you create a home that feels as good as it looks.

ONE OF A KIND LUXURY DESIGN

Using the highest level of customization, we dream. Then we fulfill dreams. The result: interiors that are elevated but approachable, rooms that are extraordinary interplays of form and function, and spaces that embrace a perfectly unfussy, unstyled feeling.

We never simply put objects into a home; we craft a way of living in each intimate and every thoughtful moment.

The Best Lighting for Your Home: What Most Homeowners Get Wrong

Lighting is one of the most overlooked parts of home design — but it affects everything. The paint, the mood, the photos you take, and even how large your rooms feel.

Here’s what homeowners often get wrong (and how to fix it):

1. Relying Only on Overhead Lights

Overheads are harsh. Every room needs a mix of:
• Overhead lighting
• Table lamps
• Floor lamps
• Accent or sconce lighting

2. Choosing the Wrong Bulb Temperature

The perfect sweet spot:
2700K–3000K
Anything higher looks blue and cold.

3. Using Undersized Fixtures

Most homes use light fixtures that are too small.
Rule: go slightly bigger than you think.

4. Forgetting Dimmer Switches

Dimmers instantly improve warmth and adjustability.

5. Skipping Lighting in Corners

Dark corners make the whole room feel smaller.

6. Ignoring Natural Light

Window treatments, placement, and color choices change drastically depending on your daylight.

Lighting completely transforms a space — even without new furniture.
