DANIELLE COATES

Founder & CEO

I’m a passionate interior designer with over 15 years of experience and 10 years with on site construction experience. I love creating beautiful, functional spaces. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, and my journey has allowed me to blend my love for design with my enthusiasm for making homes feel truly special.

When I’m not designing, I’m spending quality time with my husband and our energetic 2-year-old son. Family is everything to me, and we love making memories together through travel and new adventures. Whether I’m exploring a new city or at home, I’m always inspired by the beauty of the world around me.

Design is not just my career—it’s my passion. I’m excited to bring that passion to your space and help you create a home that feels as good as it looks.

ONE OF A KIND LUXURY DESIGN

Using the highest level of customization, we dream. Then we fulfill dreams. The result: interiors that are elevated but approachable, rooms that are extraordinary interplays of form and function, and spaces that embrace a perfectly unfussy, unstyled feeling.

We never simply put objects into a home; we craft a way of living in each intimate and every thoughtful moment.

The 10 Most Common Remodeling Mistakes Homeowners Make (And How to Avoid Them)

Home remodels can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re trying to plan everything yourself. After years of designing kitchens, bathrooms, and full homes, I’ve noticed that most remodeling issues come from the same avoidable mistakes.

Here’s what to watch for — and how to make your remodel go smoother:

1. Choosing Materials Before the Layout

If the layout changes, your selections may no longer fit.

2. Buying Appliances Too Early

Always finalize the design first to avoid clearance issues.

3. Forgetting About Lead Times

Some items arrive fast. Others take weeks. Planning ahead prevents delays.

4. Picking Paint Without Checking Undertones

Florida light can turn the wrong paint color yellow or green.

5. Skipping a Lighting Plan

Lighting determines how your space feels — not just how it looks.

6. Following Trends Too Closely

Choose what feels timeless and right for your home.

7. Not Measuring Walkways

Kitchen aisles, hallways, and bathroom spacing matter more than you think.

8. Rushing the Selection Phase

This is where mistakes (and higher costs) usually happen.

9. Forgetting About Outlets

Especially in kitchens, bathrooms, and near nightstands.

10. Starting Demo Before Finalizing the Design

Contractors build what you give them — even if the plan isn’t ideal.
Design first. Demo second.
